Henry Bockman President of PowerWashCompany.comHenry Bockman is a Navy Veteran that served with the F-14 Squadron “The Star fighters” on board the USS America as an Aviation Ordinance man that specialized in F-14 weapons systems.

In 1989 Bockman left the military and started a home maintenance company and built a customer base for gutter cleaning, power washing and handyman services with 8 full time employees in Montgomery County Maryland.

In 2001 Bockman started Commercial Restorations to expand into commercial, industrial and Government power washing services. Some of their projects include Military bases, processing plants, college campuses, the Lincoln Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, the Abner Doubleday Stadium and other landmark locations around the Nation.

2003 Bockman has served on the Board of Directors for the Power Washers of North America as the Chairman of the communications committee, PWNA Webmaster, PWNA BBS Administrator, creator of Clean Across America campaign, and as the President and founding member of the Maryland State Chapter of PWNA. Bockman has received PWNA Marketing awards, the Joe Walters Award, letters of recognition from The Governor of Maryland and the Daily Points
Of Light Award from President Bush.

In 2005 Bockman worked with Everett Abrams, Pete Marentay, Tony Szabos and Doc Reisman while serving on the Board of Directors for the Power Washers Of North America in create Best Management Practices, Power Washing Training Classes and Certification testing for the Industry.

2007 Bockman’s program “Clean Across America” was honored to receive the Take Pride in America National Award. The Take Pride in America organization is a national partnership program aimed at increasing volunteer service on America’s public lands. It is the goal of Take Pride to empower volunteers from every corner of America to maintain and enhance our natural, cultural, and historical sites. Take Pride encourages citizen stewardship through campaign and an interactive website that showcases volunteer opportunities at natural and cultural sites.

In 2015 Bockman traveled to England to work with Gavin Reardon and Michael Conway to help create the first International training program in the United Kingdom for Soft-Washing and power washing services.

Bockman one of the Top Experts in the industry and has taken every power washing training course available over the last 35 years. He has certifications from the Power Washers of North America, Wolman, Jahn Masonry and Restoration services, Seal N Lock, American Builders and Restoration, BASMA, Cathedral Stone, the Contractors Foundation, Alliance Trade Education Services.

In 2016, Bockman was appointed to the Commission on Veterans Affairs, testified for Congress, graduated from the Veterans Institute For Procurement, and worked with the Historical Society, National Park Services, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Maryland Home Improvement Commission to change the laws regarding the licensing for power washing.

In 2019 Bockman started the process of merging multiple power washing companies he had acquired into one new company called PowerWashCompany.com to streamline his companies and focus his attention on the power washing industry.

In August 2019, PowerWashCompany opened a new office location in Gaithersburg Maryland, and expanded the companies service area to Maryland, Virginia, District of Columbia and Pennsylvania.

In 2020 Bockman developed a training program for contractors to help them succeed and create a network of service providers on the East Coast for larger opportunities.
