Position Details
- Job Title: Field Technician — Pressure Washing & Exterior Cleaning
- Location: Gaithersburg, MD (Field-Based — Montgomery County and surrounding areas)
- Employment Type: Full-Time (Part-Time Considered)
- Pay: $17.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience and performance
- Schedule: Monday–Friday (some Saturdays depending on workload)
What You’ll Do
As a Field Technician, you’ll be out in the field every day performing professional exterior cleaning services for residential and commercial clients throughout the Montgomery County area. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating truck-mounted and trailer-mounted pressure washing equipment
- Performing house washing, driveway cleaning, deck and fence washing, and roof soft washing
- Cleaning gutters, downspouts, siding, and building exteriors
- Safely using electric hose reels, remote control systems, and chemical application equipment
- Following job instructions precisely to protect client property and avoid damage
- Representing PowerWashCompany.com professionally on every job site
- Completing job checklists and communicating job status to the office
- Maintaining equipment cleanliness and basic upkeep between jobs
- Working safely at heights using ladders, scaffolding, or man-lifts when required

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record — you may be driving company vehicles or towing trailers
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently — required to follow job instructions accurately and communicate with clients; miscommunication in this role can result in property damage or personal injury
- Physical ability to perform outdoor labor in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet all day
- Comfortable working at heights (ladders, rooftops, lifts)
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Reliable transportation to report to our Gaithersburg facility each morning
- Detail-oriented, energetic, and takes pride in quality work
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in pressure washing, exterior cleaning, landscaping, painting, or a similar trade
- 3+ months of experience at a power washing or exterior cleaning company
- Experience operating 32′ ladders, scaffolding, or man-lifts
- Experience with soft wash chemical application systems
- Veterans of any military branch or public service — strongly encouraged to apply
