All of our services are guaranteed to be carried out with the maximum amount of professionalism and quality. This online bid is designed to make your life easier, but is unfortunately unable to take every factor into consideration. The proposal this system has given you is based on the information provided by you on the previous screen, or over the phone (which we will hold on record) and that if there is a deviation from those numbers, we must adjust our estimate accordingly.

Our online bidding system uses the Square Footage of living space that you provide, or what is recorded at: https://sdat.dat.maryland.gov/RealProperty/. If the information you provide is incorrect your pricing will change to the square footage that is recorded at: https://sdat.dat.maryland.gov/RealProperty/.

Our Online system is incapable of bidding anything that is above and beyond regular cleaning services. All bids produced by this system are subject to change, although we try not to whenever possible. Factors such as extra ladder work, heavy soiling, mineral deposits, weak or fragile landscaping, interior access, previously damaged or worn out screens or gutters, or anything else that we are unable to factor into this sight-unseen bid which might affect the price will have to be taken into account, if need be, at the time of service– but before the service commences. You saved yourself time. You saved us gas & time. And this whole process has helped the environment. We consider that when we are making these adjustments and only do so when it is absolutely necessary and with great consideration. Our mission is NOT to bait and switch. We just thought it is only fair that we let you know that!

So that your cleaning stays within the scheduled time frame, is completed in full and to keep your property and our team safe, please review the following:

1) If you’re having your windows cleaned, please make sure all windows are closed, locked and any screens have been removed.

2) If you are having your roof or house washed please make sure all doors and windows are closed, all potted plants have been brought in or moved into the yard and vehicles are at least 20 feet from the home.

3) If you are having your driveway or patio cleaned, please make sure the surface is clear of any vehicles, plants and/or patio furniture.

4) Has your property been painted with Sherwin Williams Exterior Paints? Some of their exterior paints include organic pigments that have been known to react with cleaning solutions designed to eliminate organic matter such as algae, mildew, mold and bacteria. Please take a paper towel with a small amount of bleach and test the painted surfaces on your property to observe whether there is any color change. It would be a reaction that happens within a couple minutes and is significant, not slight. If you’re unable to do this test, please let us know so we can test prior to our service.

5) Windows may already be spotted due to heavy concentrations of minerals in your tap water. Some of our service options include the use of water softners that will reduce water spotting but even using pure water systems can not remove spotting that already exists on the glass from rain, metal window screens and other causes.

If these preparations aren’t completed, our team may not be able to complete your service even though the agreed to charges will still apply.

PowerWashCompany.com guarantees all products and labor supplied under this contract to meet or exceed standards of the trade. Our warranty/guarantee does not apply to any damages caused by factors beyond the control of PowerWashCompany.com, such as: improper maintenance, subpar building repairs, wear of cleaned surface, oxidization fading from UV rays, failing sealers, paints, or stains, rotting wood, brittle rubber or plastics, faulty electrical wiring/outlets, loose/defective water spigots, unintended surface reactions to solutions deemed common and safe by experts in the exterior cleaning industry or other existing structural defects.

Surfaces will be cleaned of all biological growth and surface dirt Items like “artillery fungus”, rust, oil, red clay stains, scuffs, paint, efflorescence and the like are not included. Any other items that cannot be removed by traditional washing are not included. On site water is required for all cleaning projects.

PowerWashCompany.com cannot be held liable for any damages resulting from open windows, doors, leaking seals, flashing, or electrical items that are exposed yet not in a condition to get wet, surfaces that react negatively to standard cleaning processes as outlined in our quote or common to the industry, water intrusion of any kind or damage due to not following the above pre-cleaning preparation list.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF AGREEMENT

—- THIS CONTRACT SHALL BE INTERPRETED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF MARYLAND —-

All material is guaranteed to be as specified. All work to be completed in a workmanlike manner according to standard practices. Any alteration or deviation from specifications or schedule stated on this proposal involving extra costs will only be executed upon written orders; and will become an extra charge over and above the proposal.

Client will assist with the coordination of clearing any areas in which PowerWashCompany.com will be working and notifying occupants when the work will be performed so they close their windows and remove cars, personal property and any obstacles to allow room around the areas being cleaned The following conditions are for Services as per Agreement entered by and between the parties mentioned in this contract. The herein named is the “Client” and PowerWashCompany.com (a DBA of Henry’s Housework Inc).

PowerWashCompany.com will provide all cleaning solutions, labor, supervision, equipment and materials necessary to perform the services described in this contract. The Client is responsible for providing water and electrical use at the jobsite. If not available PowerWashCompsany.com will charge an additional fee for jobs outside of the WSSC service area for all expenses including rentals, meters, leasing fees, and water usage.

PowerWashCompany.com shall save the Client harmless from and against all loss and expense resulting from gross negligence or intentional acts by its employees while rendering services at the Property.

Note: PowerWashCompany.com will always attempt to remove all surface dirt, mold, mildew & other biological stains but will not risk using strong acids, hazardous chemicals or high pressure methods that may damage or stain the surfaces being cleaned. Surfaces that are covered with pollutants, mineral stains or heavy biological growths like Gloeocaspa Magma and lichen will cause penetrating stains and damage of the surface they are growing on that may require restoration services to remove them completely.

All work will be completed in a professional manner by uniformed employees. Areas that are being cleaned will be roped off with caution tape as needed during the process for safety. All cleaning will be done in compliance with the Federal Clean Water Act regulations by using our specially designed water reclamation pumps and vacuum systems as needed to stop water from entering the storm drains.

PowerWashCompany.com will use truck and trailer mounted units and man-lifts, to perform our work. Client is responsible for notifying us in writing of any underground pipes or wires in the area that can be damage and will not hold PowerWashCompany.com liable for damages to turf or underground systems. PowerWashCompany.com will not be held liable for any damage already on the surfaces, for personnel property left in the area, or for leaks from open or faulty seals in windows. seals, doors, sealants, electrical fixtures, cable or phone hookups, seams, gaskets, cracks, wood rot, improper wiring, damaged masonry, oxidized paint and caulking, interior window seals, deficiencies in waterproofing, maintenance or construction on the areas we are cleaning. Client is responsible for turning off all power to exterior outlets, switches and other electrical fixtures mounted on the surfaces that we are cleaning, and agrees not to hold PowerWashCompany.com liable for any damages caused by fixtures that still had power.

Removal of tree sap, paint oxidation, artillery fungus, graffiti, gum shadows, rust, mineral stains and other stains caused by grease & oil spills, deck stain, caulk, paint splatters and water spots on glass are NOT included in standard cleaning services and are only available as a separate Restoration service.

Due to OSHA safety regulations and tenant privacy, we are only able to clean balcony walls as best as possible from the ground. PowerWashCompany.com is not responsible for any damages to personal property on balconies, the occupants must close all outlet covers, windows and doors and remove all personal belongings that may become damaged from water or the cleaning solutions before the cleaning is performed.

PowerWashCompany.com shall maintain during the term of this Contract, the following minimum insurance coverage:

Products Comp/OP Agg $2,000,000
Auto Insurance $1,000,000
Umbrella Liability $1,000,000
Workman’s Compensation $1,000,000

This contract may be canceled upon 7 days prior written notice by either of the signatory parties; however cancellation may affect prior invoicing during the term. PowerWashCompany.com reserves the right to re-invoice prior work performed during this contract period, at the non-contract price. Client agrees to remit payment for any and all additional invoicing for adjusted rates due to cancellation of this contract before its agreed upon termination date.

Maintenance contracts that are not renewed at the end of its term may be provided for an extended period of time on a month-to-month basis until Client or PowerWashCompany.com chooses to cancel the services, at which time a new proposal/contract may be administered.

Product Warranties: All warranties are limited to those offered by the manufacturers of the products used. PowerWashCompany.com makes no additional warranties. If you ever have a concern regarding our work, PowerWashCompany.com should be notified immediately.

If the property was built before 1978, the client is responsible for having a certified inspector to inspect for any traces of Lead or Asbestos on the property. PowerWashCompany.com reserves the right to suspend further services on delinquent accounts, without waiving any rights under this contract or applicable law.

PowerWashCompany.com will provide an invoice following completion of service, or other times as specified in the proposal. Payment is due upon completion. Late fee’s will be assessed after 14 days, at 30 days accounts will be considered delinquent and will be charged for additional collection fees including collection fees which can be as high as 50% of the original invoice. Past dues, or any part thereof, including prior service charges, are subject to a 2% per month (24% per annum) service charge. Service charges are computed on an average daily balance. Collection costs, court fees and/or reasonable attorney’s fees are the responsibility of the client. All payments received are applied in the order of: Collection costs, attorney’s fees, court fees, service charges and past due amounts. Any remaining funds are then applied to current amounts due.
